Seafarer Services is able to carry out competence evaluation and health assessment of the Chinese Seafarer.

A. Compliance with the core STCW competencies is obtained using an internationally recognised Competence Evaluation System (CES) and the results made available to shipping companies.

B. Assessment of the level of competence of Maritime English is carried out using standard testing, IMO recognised programmes. A web published recording of the individual involved in a conversation in English is used to illustrate their ability to converse in Maritime English.

C. If required an initial assessment of the seafarers' health to international standards can be carried out in China.
